Shayle uses 3D-imaging and DNA sequencing to map micro-environments within coral colonies and ultimately design probiotics that might help corals form new symbiotic relationships to better weather warming waters.
Our journey with Shayle took us from the labs of Shedd Aquarium in Chicago to the reefs of the Florida Keys.
